04 Oct New Head of Business Development Europe – Matthias Zacek joins g-Xperts from Google
Matthias Zacek, who has been working at Google Austria as Industry Head Austria for six years started as Head of Business Development Europe at g-Xperts on October 1st. The Viennese company is a Google Premium Partner for Google Maps and Google My Business. The 15-person team specializes in the perfect use of Google Maps for physical sites. Zacek will be responsible for expanding and developing Business Location Services in Europe.
Matthias Zacek developed the area of retail at Google from 2013 to 2016 and has been responsible for the entire Austrian ad business since 2016. At Google, his focus was on omnichannel and customer-centric, on-demand marketing. Specifically, he devoted himself, amongst other things, to the impact of digital touchpoints on the smartphone on the stationary frequency and the associated performance measurement. Together with Rainer Will, Managing Director of the Austrian Retail Association, he initiated among other things, the Customer Journey Study “Expedition Customer” and ORI, the omnichannel readiness index for retail, banks and the travel industry.
As an official Google Maps Partner, g-Xperts helps companies to keep their location data up-to-date in Google and to take advantage of Google Maps on their own website. Zacek will guide companies in the future and ensure to make use of 100 percent fit data in a user-oriented and local SEO effective way and subsequently make the rich information on locations and user behavior readily available.
